Two new mascara's

I've recently tried out two mascara's that I've not tried before. The Benefit-They're Real Mascara and the Kevyn Aucoin- The Essential Mascara.

Kevyn Aucoin

The first time I used this mascara I fell in LOVE. I have been using the Kiko's Volumeyes Plus for so long I didn't know if I'd like any others. The Kevyn Aucoin mascara wand itself has a slight bend to it which means that when you do apply the mascara it curls your lashes at the same time. I love the fact you don't need much coats for it to look nice. I used two and it automatically opened up my eyes. The mascara itself does not feel heavy on the eyes at all which is a win, I cannot stand mascara's that weigh my eyelashes down.

Benefit

The mascara wand has small bristles that spike up, and are spaced fairly apart. The mascara does look good on the eyes but that's after applying a few coats. It is quite lumpy, which I'm not too keen about. However in saying that once it is applied a few times the lumpiness does go. It does give a volumous look to the eye's which is great. This mascara will look great with smoky eyes and even on its own. I like to wear this without any eye shadow and even eyeliner.

I've only got the mini version of these and out of the two I would purchase the Kevyn Aucoin- The Essential Mascara's full package.
