New beginnings

Starting over somewhere new can be very daunting, leaving something can be just as daunting.
Just yesterday I left my job and in two weeks time I start a new job. A totally different job, something I've not done before. It takes lots of courage to leave something to start something new, and that's not just for jobs. Sometimes we have to make huge sacrifices, whether they're monetary or non monetary to go places we really want to be. I made a huge decision to leave, and made huge sacrifices but knew that in the end I will be heading towards something I'd love. I had lots of people calling me crazy, and look at me not impressed.

I've come to the point where I really don't care what others think. My success will be different from your success and that's okay. Don't let people make you feel that if you don't do something one way that you've done it wrong or that you've totally messed it up. We all work differently and our outcomes are always different.

I've come to realise that doing things because others think its amazing doesn't make you a least bit happy. In fact it makes you miserable and you go through the same vicious circle everyday. Do what pleases you, and you'll be super happy and in your opinion successful.

So this is just a reassurance that its okay to leave and start again, even if it means you start again from the very bottom. As Rumi once said If all you can do is crawl, start crawling. Starting over is like a breath of fresh air. Do what makes you happy, and you'll be fine :)
