5 winter essentials!
Winter is here, although if you live in the UK winter literally started months ago!
Today, I will be presenting you with 5 winter essentials. These are a mix of beauty and just ordinary every day essentials.
1) A good warm coat!
I love wearing parka's during the winter. The parka has been around for a long time now, it has a arctic look to it. It keeps you so warm and cosy throughout the chilly days. The parka I have is from Hollister, and I absolutely adore it!
2) Moisturiser
Moisturise Moisturise Moisturise!
Because of all the cold air, our skin tends to become drier than usual. But nothing a good moisturiser can't solve. For my face I like to use the Body Shop Vitamin E Intense moisture cream, this cream works wonders on my skin. On the rest of my body I like to use the Soap and Glory Body Buttercream, the cream does what it says. It gives intense soft skin- even on the more stubborn skin like the elbows and knees.
3) Socks
For the days where you just can't be bothered to go out- whip out those comfy socks!
I don't know if this is just me, but my feet gets the coldest! A nice fluffy socks always does the trick. The slipper sock, is probably the most genius invention ever! You can buy some really cool Jack Wills ones from ASOS.
4) Bath Bombs
Nothing feels better than coming home from the bitter cold and jumping into a warm bath, with bubbles and lovely scent everywhere. Using a bath bomb will do just that. The whole experience is so aromatic and calming, so spa like. Some of the best bath bombs I've purchased is from the king of bath bombs- LUSH! You are always spoilt from choice there. Mmmm I can already smell it.
5) Neck scarf
Your chest is very sensitive, and you can easily have nasty chesty coughs during the winter. To avoid this I like to use a thick blanket scarf. Not only do you feel warm but its also very fashionable at the moment. I recently purchased my scarf from New Look.
