Affordable back to school/work makeup
January 2016, and everyone's back to school and work after a lovely break.
So here's a quick affordable makeup idea that looks natural and you can pull it off everyday.
First starting off with the foundation. The Rimmel Match perfection foundation is great for everyday use, it gives a nice glow to the skin. The colour that I have is natural beige, although this colour is pretty dark for my skin, I don't mind using it as the foundation itself blends in really well giving it a flawless finish. I don't wear concealer everyday, and this covers my blemishes that I have very well.
Then we get to the pressed powder, this ensures that the foundation stays put the whole day. I like to use the Rimmel stay matte pressed powder. I have the shade transparent, this shade is perfect for any skin tone.
After this I like to go to my eyes, for the eyes I sweep on an ever so natural eye shadow shade just to give the eyes a bit of a depth. I like to use the Makeup Academy Eyeshadow Palette, in the shade Undress Me Too. This eyeshadow palette is surprisingly good, it's not my go to palette. I then use the Kiko Volume eyes plus mascara. I absolutely love this stuff! when I first discovered Kiko, I was hesitant to try their products out but this mascara changed my view. The mascara makes my lashes long, it doesn't clug up and really separates the lashes amazingly.
Then the cheeks, I like to use the Bourjois blush, I use the colour Rose Mandarine. The shade isn't too pink and has a slight orange tinge to it. It makes a perfect everyday shade.
Finally finishing it off with the lips, I like to use a subtle shade for the lips but one that also has colour. For this I used the Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in the shade Asia. If you go to school and you have very strict rules, I would opt for a simple lip balm.
Hope you enjoyed your time off, 2016 here we come!
Peace and love,
Masuda
